Nancy Vallejo is Colombian and Swiss. She is a lawyer with a Master degree in natural resource management. Since 1999, she is a partner at Pi Environmental Consulting. In 2003 she bacame the Director of the organization. She is involved in all the areas Pi is working on:
Nancy has been active with different environmental and social certification initiatives, with a special interest in strengthening their capacity to deliver in developing countries, particularly for SMEs. An important aspect of her work is aimed at building responsible supply chains and establishing market linkages for ethical products and companies. Prior to Pi Nancy had performed the roles of General Secretary of the Colombian Environmental Protection Agency and Senior International Treaties Co-ordinator of WWF International, focusing on the Convention of Biological Diversity and its implementation in key developing countries. |

Pierre Hauselmann is Swiss. He has a Master degree in environmental management and has been involved in standardization and certification for more than 15 years. Pierre participated as technical expert in several standardization processes, including the drafting of the ISO 14000 series of standards on environmental management. He has a broad expertise in multi-stakeholder processes for standard setting and has directly contributed to the policy, strategic and institutional development work of several environmental and social certification schemes. He is a founding member of the Forest Stewardship Council. In 1995 Pierre founded Pi. Since 2008, he has taken the role of technical advisor to the company. |
